Why I love my mom ...
She had 7 kids … and I was #6! Thank God she kept going!
She never gives up.
She loves her family with all her heart and she loves them the best way she knows how.
She always wanted the best for me.
She was always there for me to help me the best way she knew how.
She made me do things that she thought were ultimately in my best interest ~ like not swimming my senior year of high school so that I would get my grades up.
She supported me in my swimming ~ often she would show up to my swim meets when no one else would.
She has an unwavering faith in Catholicism. She passed this faith on to me.
She gave up a lot in the way of her own personal happiness to make sure her family was taken care of.
She would get my father to do things that he didn’t want to do, like “miss work” to be at one of my swim meets.
She made me take typing (15 years before the personal computer appeared) and to this day I can type faster than anyone I know!!
She made me get a job as a teenager.
She is generous on Birthdays and Christmas -- but mostly, she doesn't forget her 7 children or 15 grandchildren.
She was a mean mother … this is high compliment.
She keeps track of the family ... all of the family even my dads.
She didn't spoil me with fancy clothes or labels.
Every night she makes a wonderful home-cooked meal.
She’s still here cheering me on!
She lives her marital and religious vows.
She loves dogs!
